No strings attached!
No strings attached!
Some people appear to be helpful only on the surface, or could be real Philanthropists from the very essence of their acts. Deep under, however, some men stand to gain out of their acts. This may not be a direct form of strings that are attached to the good acts, nevertheless, a gain is realized in return.
When you are lending resources to friends, without any expected returns or “kick-back,” you would most likely be thinking only of the welfare of the other party, and a truly good Samaritan, in thoughts and in deed.
In a world of extreme materialism, however, seldom does a thing like that happens. So, when being at the receiving end, be wary of the payment in return or be aware of the possibilities, but must not suffer the paranoia for such awareness.

Lending out resources!
Lending out resources!
When lending resources to friends, it is important that you consider the possibility that the items being borrowed may not be returned on schedule, or you may even entirely lose these things, due to certain unforeseen events or circumstances. One important lesson therefore, that you can learn from these types of transactions is the experience that resources may never come back to you on time at all. In view of these, one should consider therefore, when lending that the loss or delay in the return of these things should not jeopardize your own programs and activities. In short you should ask yourself this question: “Can you afford to lose the particular resources that you allowed to be borrowed?” If you can not, then it is best that you do not lend such resources, unless you can afford to suffer the inconvenience that will possibly result. Often times, the destruction of friendships are brought about by tying your own programs to these transactions, and the resulting inconvenience being experienced thereafter. Nobody can be fully certain of future events.

Cutting of Trees!
Cutting of trees was once a rampant activity and a lucrative industry in many provinces in the island of Mindanao. In fact, many enterprising people became millionaires during the industry's glorious days. With the thinning of the forest, however, and slow reforestation, the industry left its mark in the history with tragic landslides, and devastation of homes and lives of the citizenry. What a painful lesson it was for everyone affected. Let no one therefore commit the same mistake of removing a vital forest cover that brings danger to lives and properties.
